My mistake, I'll edit my post.
I think you understood what I'm talking about, to be clearer about the completeness of the code in the github repository just to avoid people like me thinking that the full thing is there and that you can clone and build it. A suggestion on a message that would be clearer to me:
"While we are still looking for ways to make (...) [general message on early preview].
After donating you will be given access to the binaries and full source code to the SDK.
The source code to some of the components of the SDK can be found in our GitHub repository. [make it clear that it's not the full thing]"
I also wanted to suggest considering Patreon as a means for funding, if you haven't already. It's a subscription system rather than a one-time purchase, and there's a whole mechanism to share your milestones, rewards etc.
I know of at least one software developer there, I'm sure there must be more, especially game developers.
