Smoke example not working

Hello everyone,

I was unable to reproduce the example of the particles:
smoke.blend

smoke.blend

and particle_info.blend:

paricle_info

I get the following error repeatedly on the blender console for smoke:

blender_smoke_error

However, all other examples are working as expected.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
