Will Armory be able to create an open world game?

I’m trying to find a game engine that has the capability to create a large open world game. When Armory is finished, will it be capable of creating such a large game?

I don’t know for sure, but I have seen that Armory currently has a scene streaming example that dynamically loads and unloads objects as you fly around the world. It also has level of detail for objects. I’m no authority on the subject, but it seems like it is definitely possible that Armory could handle a large open world eventually. Right now a whole lot of stuff in Armory needs work, but it also seems like almost anything is possible with how well Armory and Kha are designed. :slight_smile:

That depends on how far you want to see.
If it’s an open world corn maze where you’ll never see more than one kilometer ahead, it works great. However, last I checked there was a bit of a clipping issue. I opened a thread for it and everything, but fixing the clip has been beyond my reach for a while. Lubos might fix it, but I wouldn’t count on it.
