I’d like to purchase Armory, because I really like how it’s progressing and want to support development. I’m just wondering what to expect in terms of access to future updates and such.

It’s progressing well. There are updates 2-4 times a week which include new functionality/bug fixes etc.
I purchased armory about a year ago and still have access. I believe the plan is to open source the platform builds as soon as its production ready. I strongly recommend purchasing the early access to support the development and get a head start on learning the workflow prior to its release.

The updates are provided till Lubos is alive. I am already haunted 
by the existing issues users are facing, would not want to restrict access to any fixes or new features.
