What are the blockers of bringing the rendercapture functionality back?

I have had some time to look into the code today and noticed that the render capture logic was ostensibly removed in this commit: Upgrading armory into b2.8 engine

I would like to contribute, but I am a little clueless as to the ‘why’ of the feature removal. Would appreciate any insight if available! Much appreciation for the work involved in this project!

The render capture should be implemented through the ‘engine interface’ in Blender 2.8. Starting with Armory 0.4 there is a dedicated Armory engine entry now, so we can align the functionality with the rest of the engines. Basically the old implementation was discarded to make way for a more robust one.
