Starting with Nodes or Logic

Hello, I am thinking to study Armory in Blender especially with nodes and logic. Is there a starter guide or documentation? I have been following YouTube channel “GameFromScratch”, that one seems promising. Other than that, I think logic node will be self exploration…

I would like to be able to do the basic like triggering sound or action.

This may be able to help you with the code aspect for haxe syntax: https://code.haxe.org/category/beginner/
and here is a manual which has come quite handy for examples: http://armory3d.org/manual/#/ .
I’m totally new with armory as well, as I come from the openfl side of things of haxe  so nice to meet you, and I wish you the best of luck on your exploration!

Hello @blendersushiguy! As @PXshadow mentioned there’s a bit of documentation (still a bit sparse imo). There’s also a bunch of examples & other demos and tutorial related files in the armory3d github account. (On a side note, I’ve messed around a bit with Sverchok & Animation nodes generated stuff and it generally seems to work quite well!)

Looking forward to see what you come up with!

Hey all I was wondering if it would be possible to make a full VR game with node logic??

Only one way to be sure … why not try some experiments and report back to the rest of us?

hey all I was wondering if there’s a way to use node logic to make a combat system with animation of swords skills or something like light sabers? like say I animate the light saber from sketch how do it make with light up and stuff when the play goes to use it

One step at a time you must go, young Jedi.

ok so where should i start XD

To make the “light saber” glow, you may use emission texture and control the brightness of the saber.

you can also enable bloom in armory render properties to get a better effect.

lol I mean for a game
