Importing Object into ArmorPaint Malforms it


I just purchased ArmorPaint to be able to texture a model I made in Blender. Problem is, whenever I import the blend file (or any file - I tried .obj too) it displays very strangely in ArmorPaint. I thought maybe the model was bad so I checked it over but couldn’t find any duplicate vertices. I imported it into unity just to see and Unity displays it correctly.

Does anyone know what’s wrong?

Im not sure, but try using quads and triangles only in your model. You may triangulate the model in Blender in Edit mode
