I have been encountering a performance issue while using ArmorPaint, specifically when painting textures on high-poly models. When working with models that have over 500,000 polygons, the software starts to lag significantly, especially when I zoom in or use detailed brushes. This delay makes it difficult to work smoothly and affects my overall workflow.
I’ve tried working with different brushes like airbrushes or texture stamps, but the issue persists. The lag seems to happen regardless of the brush type, which leads me to believe the problem might be related to how the software handles larger models or complex texture layers. Has anyone else experienced similar lag with high-poly models? Any tips on improving performance, or is there a setting I can adjust to minimize this delay? I’d really appreciate any help or suggestions to improve the painting experience with larger meshes in ArmorPaint.
